3 Easy Tips for Better Serve
NOW with The Total Serve
THE
TOTAL SERVE and THE
TOTAL SERVE JR are revolutionary new tools for FAST & EASY
improvement on your tennis serve and overhead motions. Manufactured in the USA,
The Total Serve can be carried in your tennis bag and used ANYWHERE for
technical improvement, warm-up, stretching and rhythm.
The
Total Serve Jr comes in two graduated sizes ideal for 10 & Under Programs
and developing juniors. Juniors learn the essential elements of correct throwing technique and grip.
Adults
& juniors should use The Total Serve to learn these essential elements of
the serve:
1.
Balance:
Develop an appropriate beginning stance for your service motion. Learn to
incorporate correct weight transfer, rotation and upward push to point of
contact.
2.
Rhythm:
Practice all elements of the serve (legs, toss arm, racket arm throw, rotation,
still head) DYNAMICALLY. Find your rhythm for a more powerful, efficient and
consistent serve.
3.
Relaxation:
FEEL what it means to be “relaxed” during the service motion.
Let
your body understand the easy, fluid motions essential to a great serve!
“The
Total Serve is one of the BEST tools I have found for helping students “feel”
how to produce a fundamentally sound service motion. It is a great aid for
warming up before matches or before serving in lessons. “The Total Serve - is
Totally Cool.”

I have had this since I saw it in the spring of 2011. I have used it with 2.5 and 3.0 players with a lot of success. Plus, it works really well with more advanced players to show them that their motion has a hitch. Now, with the QuickStart lengths I know a couple of young pros using it with kids as young as 4. They are getting these young kids serving with a full motion in one day. I think this is the best serve trainer out there and indispensable in my bag for warm-ups!
